DISTRICT VI STUDENT DAY
FSMTA provides for non-competitive performance, written theory, and aural theory evaluations through its Student Day Program. The program encompasses Levels Primary through Twelve, without age restrictions, in all instruments and voice.
The FSMTA Student Activities Handbook (*) gives specific requirements and samples of tests, pages 3 through 160.
Students are awarded Certificates of Achievement or Certificates of Progress. A student may enter at the level the teacher feels is appropriate. After completing Level VI, a student may continue enrolling for evaluation in performance, written theory, and aural theory, or they may enroll in any single area for evaluation. An Honors Recital for outstanding performers concludes the Student Day experience.
